MyStash is built privacy-first. The application runs entirely on your own computer, and the media you organise with it never leaves your machine. This policy explains the limited data involved in using the MyStash app and the mystashlabs.com website.
1. Your library stays on your device
MyStash is a fully offline desktop application. Your media files, libraries, playlists, markers and transcripts are stored locally on your computer. We do not have a server that receives, copies or stores your library, and on-device transcription is performed locally — your audio is never uploaded.
2. Information we do not collect
- We do not require an account to use MyStash.
- We do not collect, transmit or store the contents of your media library or transcripts.
- We do not track your in-app activity or sell any data to third parties.
3. Website
When you visit mystashlabs.com, our hosting provider may process basic, non-identifying request information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running. We keep website data collection to a minimum and do not use it to build advertising profiles.
4. Payments
Purchases of MyStash Pro are processed by our payment provider, who acts as the Merchant of Record. When you buy, you provide your payment details directly to the provider — we never see or store your full card details. The provider processes your information to complete the sale, handle taxes and prevent fraud, in accordance with their own privacy policy. We receive only the information needed to fulfil and support your purchase (such as your email and order reference).
5. Email & support
If you contact us for support or a refund, we process the information you provide (such as your email address and message) solely to respond to you.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. Because we hold very little, this is usually limited to purchase and support records. To make a request, email us at the address below.
7. Children
MyStash is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
